Tasked with turning abstract data flow into something viewers could feel, Kons built a sleek 3D vignette that maps a customer at the center of a glowing network of phones, tablets, and workstations. Designed for Teradata’s Digital Identity edit, every line, pulse, and camera push was timed to the project's rhythm to sit naturally beside the surrounding stock footage. Asset generation and animation were all handled by Kons, creating a clean, tech-forward bridge between the brand’s story and the rest of the spot.

Behind the Scenes

I started in Character Creator, where I made a character that fits in the world of the edit. It's an iterative process, and it offers tools specifically for creating characters quickly while also allowing you to go deeper to refine any details.

After Character Creator, I pulled the character into iClone to quickly iterate on some animation. We chose a quick animation into a pose of examination, so that the viewer could connect the dots like the character in the shot.

After getting the character set up and imported into Cinema 4D, I prepped the devices and laid out the network. Animation was created using the Cinema 4D mograph toolset in order to make cascading animations for the devices and the data network.
